Please allow me to introduce myself...

Hello, I'm Paul. I've been a fan of Sherlock Holmes for the past thirty years and love everything to do with Sherlock Holmes and Conan Doyle. I'm originally from England, I moved over in 2003 and have been living in Offaly ever since. A sudden job loss meant that I had far too much time on my hands and for the sake of my sanity I started writing. The end result was Requiem for Sherlock Holmes, my first book, which was published in 2012.
Anyway, after much searching, I'm pleased to have finally found some like-minded folks in Ireland and I hope to get to know you all in time. I'm glad to know that Holmes and Watson have a strong presence in Ireland.

Hello there Paul! Welcome to the forum!   

As I have said on another thread I have neglected this forum for a long time (I didn't think anyone was using it) but I see now a few more people have joined so hopefully it will become more active.

I have no heard about your book before but I am very excited about it! Where can I purchase a copy?

I partly set up this forum to see if there were any Sherlockians who would be interested in such a Sherlock Holmes society. My dream is to one day start one since there is none in this country (at least in the south).

The book is available on Amazon and lulu.com, there are links on my website and Facebook page if you can't find it.
If you've got a Kindle reader you can pick up a copy for £3.99 this month. It's usually £4.99 but I'm running a promotion.
It'll be nice to have an Irish Sherlock Holmes society - maybe one day.
