Nikita from Meath

Hello fellow Sherlockians!

My name is Nikita, I'm a 21 year old music student from Co. Meath. I have been a Sherlock Holmes fan for about 5 years since I saw the Granada series starring Jeremy Brett. I have set up this forum (and facebook page) to meet other Irish Sherlockians/Holmesians. Since there is no Sherlock Holmes society in the republic, I would like to set one up one day and I hope that some of you would like to start one too. I look foreward to talking to you all. My name is Sophie & I am a sixteen-year-old fangirl.
...Wait, before you run away screaming, you should be made aware that I am moderate, polite, my mother tells me I'm logical, & I rather fancy my worst enemies could not call me inarticulate.
I simply get very enthusiastic about things.
I have been very enthusiastic about all things Sherlock Holmes since the age of eight. Frankly, it's unlikely I'm going to stop in the foreseeable future.

Surprised to find such little interest in Holmes online from Ireland.

Re- reading the Cannon at the moment. Have a specific interest in the Science of deduction.

Looking forward to interesting discussions with other Irish Sherlockians.

Hello there! Welcome to the forum!

I have neglected this forum for a long time (I didn't think anyone was using it) but I see now a few more people have joined so hopefully it will become more active.

I too was surprised but I actually think there are plenty of Sherlockians in Ireland they are just harder to find! haha! At least I hope there are. My dream is to one day start a Sherlock Holmes society since there is none in this country (at least in the south). I partly set up this forum to see if there were any Sherlockians who would be interested in such a society.
